Adults Only Beach Resort Dubai
The W Mina Seyahi in Dubai is the newest jewel in the crown for the Marriot International W Hotels group. Celebrating its second birthday in March 2024, it burst onto the Dubai Hotel scene to compete with the most luxurious accommodation that Dubai has to offer. A perfect new venue for the pleasure seeking jet set has been created to appeal to those who know how to enjoy themselves.
The Mina Seyahi is in a prime location, right on the Dubai Marina, Aka Marsa Dubai, with its own private beach, and boasts an unparalleled view out across the bay. The marina is an artificial canal city built along a three kilometer stretch of the Persian Gulf shoreline.
This adults only, 5 star hotel provides the perfect getaway for expats and locals with an appetite for the new. Just 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport (DBX,) it makes a statement at the heart of the city centre. The vibe is buzzing with energy, contemporary music and sumptuous high end decor.

W Hotel Dubai – snaking up to the sky
The W’s iconic glass architecture towers over the skyline offering unobstructed views from each of the elegantly designed guest rooms and suites. Look out over the Arabian Gulf and see the new Ain Dubai (Dubai eye) – the world’s highest observation wheel. Each W Hotel’s design is inspired by aspects of the destination’s local culture and this stunning hotel is no exception. The Arabian themed decor is richly colorful and quite unique. A high end design concept is weaves through each of the public areas. Everything here shouts that this is the place to stay if you are visiting this high energy city.
The building is 31 stories high and the snaking design on the exterior mimics the shape of the Saharan Viper, native to the UAE.

W Hotel Dubai – high end design solution
The incredible interior is the brainchild of the Stickman Tribe, an international boutique design studio. The stunning Arabian inspired features in the lobby include a giant tree reaching skyward from the entrance and blossoming at Ginger Moon’s Sun Deck on the second floor where the restaurant and pool are.
Dubai is synonymous with gold, its gold souqs in the Deira area of Dubai are famous across the world. A huge Golden Deer stands on a plinth representing the Golden Deer of Eurasia, the richest discovery of the last century. Gold pendant curtains sway in the entrance. The 1001 nights of prayer beads, another entrance sculpture, is a piece which features the titles of 101 story books such as Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, the Seven Voyages of Sinbad and Scheherazade. The ceramic tennis ball sized prayer beads shaped like pearls, are a nod to Dubai’s origins as a pearl fishing village. A flying carpet sculpture morphs into a crystal artwork representing the traditional flowing into the modern day. The super elegant welcome desk is models itself on the nest of the aforementioned Saharan Viper.

Guest rooms at the W Hotel
The guest rooms are equally amazing. Super spacious, every room features a generous luxury tiled bathroom, a king size bed and a view to die for. A beautiful blue wooden marquetry panel frames the giant tv. The mini bar and tea and coffee station are straight out of a 1920’s movie set. Rooms also have an outside balcony, a bonus in a high rise hotel.

Where to dine is a difficult decision here. This showcase W hotel boasts 16 restaurants and serves every kind of cuisine. Fusion restaurants reflect the many cultures of the people who both live and work here. Ginger Moon is a real hub of activity. I enjoy a luxurious breakfast here in the morning and a dialled up DJ keeps the vibes going throughout the rest of the day.
Attiko is the chic Japanese rooftop eaterie. Achingly cool, it has the vibe of a high end cosmopolitan lounge with a smart/elegant dress code. It also boasts the best view out over the iconic city landscape at night.

The W Mina Seyahi Beach Resort hotel is as bold and as vibrant as Dubai city itself. Expect to pay from 456 US 0r £365 per night.
