Africa, a continent full of fantastic sights, colours and smells. Not to mention multiple cultures and wonderful peoples. Africa is the world’s second-largest continent.

Tunisia Don’t underrate it! As an African country, Tunisia has much to offer the discerning traveler. Tunisia produces a huge amount of premium olive oil. It is also packed with incredible historic sites. One such is El Jem amphi-theatre, a location for the film, Gladiator.
Africa covers 20% of Earth’s land area and is home to 1.4 billion people. The oldest inhabited place on Earth, Africa is the origin of the very first humans.
There are an amazing 54 countries in Africa! It is home to the Sahara desert, the largest in the world. It has the world’s longest river, the Nile and it is also as the source of most of the world’s diamonds! Africa is bounded by five seas. The Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. A huge continent. And a lot more for me to explore!

From Fez to Meknes
Meknes was founded in the 11th century by the Berber dynasty of the Almoravids as a military settlement. Later the Sultan Moulay Ismaïl turned it into an impressive city in Spanish-Moorish style, surrounded by high walls with great doors.
