North Shields Fish Quay Fun

North Shields is a fishing port located close to the mouth of the River Tyne. The quay began life in 1225 as a simple village of shielings (huts) from which the town of North Shields takes its name.

Luxmuralis at Durham Cathedral

This is the first time I have attended a Luxmuralis event and I was very impressed This one called ‘Life’ is the first one that has been hosted by my lifetime favourite cathedral – Durham. And a more beautiful showcase for this work there could not be.
