5 ferries cycling challenge
We cycled off from the Arran whisky distillery, full of haggis toasties and single malt samples. Then we continued on with the 5 ferries cycling challenge in the highlands of Scotland.
Eccentric England is at the every heart of my blog. Cycling in Scotland sounded like a great idea. The 5 ferries cycling challenge sounded easy enough. Crossing on a few ferries with some cycling in between!
Allotment open day
Armstrong allotments in Newcastle have their open day once a year. Like a vegetable themed Brigadoon this is the only day of the year when mere mortals can pass beyond the fence and see up close what must be some of the most attractive grow your own plots in the UK.
Crazy Golf Triangle
The crazy golf triangle is only about a mile or so in area. There are six top crazy golf courses with differing themes just off junction 32 off the motorway.
Seaton Delaval Hall
Seaton Delaval Hall was built as probably the world’s most ostentatious retirement home. Admiral Delaval started its construction in 1728 near the village of Seaton Delaval in the North East of England.
